These handmade wool items are made
to cover your little one’s bottom with warmth
and softness! They are crocheted with 100% Merino
Wool which is the softest wool yarn around. Items
are made under a special cottage license agreement
with Dandelion Dreamers.
Tie-Dyed Prefolds:
These are high quality cotton twill
prefolds. Once washed they quilt up leaving only soft
cotton against your baby. You can use these with snappis
or pins, fold and place in a snug wrap, or use as
an insert in a pocket diaper.
The infant sized prefolds have 4x8x4 thickness and
measure 12x15.5 inches prior to washing. They should
shrink 5-10% after washing.
You will need to wash and dry these diapers on hot
approximately 2-3 times for them to quilt up and become
fully absorbent.
Our Prefolds have been dyed using professional quality
procion dyes. They have been washed to remove any
dye and residue to keep baby`s bottom soft!
Flannel Baby Wipes:
Our baby wipes are available in 6" x 6"
AND 8" x 8" size and are made from soft
cotton flannel in a selection of adorable prints.
Edges are serged for durability.
Care
Care for Wool:
You will need to wash and lanolize your cover before
its first use. To lanolize dissolve a pea-sized amount
of lanolin in tepid water and soak your cover for
about 15 minutes. Squeeze excess water out gently
and hang to dry.
When caring for your wool cover, please
hand wash with a mild detergent in cool water. Wool
covers only need to be washed approx. every 2 weeks
or so or when soiled, and can be hung to dry between
diaper changes when damp. Our wool covers need re-lanolizing
only occasionally when the water resistance seems
to decrease. (approx. every 4-6 weeks)
Prefold Care:
Prefolds have been washed and dried once prior to
shipping. You will need to wash and dry these diapers
on hot approximately 2-3 times more for them to quilt
up and become fully absorbent.
